Short terms for a small site. Betting Sites in Kenya is for adults aged 18 and over in Kenya; it publishes information, not advice; its copy of the regulator's list is illustrative and the regulator's live page prevails; it offers no gambling service and takes no responsibility for any bookmaker. Reading on means you accept these terms.
Who the site is for
Adults aged 18 and over who are in Kenya. The Gambling Control Act, 2025 requires an operator to obtain proof of age of majority before registering any player (s.72(3)), and the Conduct of Gambling Operations Regulations, 2026 treat anyone under eighteen as a minor who must be kept out of gambling and its promotion (L.N. 112, r.92(1)(c)). If you are under 18, or outside Kenya, this site is not written for you and nothing on it should be read as describing your position.
Information, not advice
Every page here is general information about Kenyan law, the regulator's list and how bookmakers work. It is not legal, financial or tax advice, and it does not take account of your circumstances. Where a decision matters, read the section of the Act or Regulation the page cites, ask the Gambling Regulatory Authority on its toll-free line, 0800-723-770, or take advice from a lawyer. Nothing on this site is a reason to bet, deposit or open an account.
The licensed bookmakers sheet
The sheet is a copy of the regulator's published list of licensed gaming companies, filtered to lines with a BK number and a domain and sorted by trading name. It is illustrative: it shows what the list said on the date stated on the page. The register of licences the Authority keeps under s.39 of the Act, and the Authority's live web page, prevail over this copy in every case. The sheet records no payment method, app, odds or quality, and its order carries no meaning beyond the alphabet.
No gambling services
This site takes no bets, holds no stake, pays no prize and holds no licence of any kind. Offering a gambling activity or service in Kenya without a licence is prohibited by s.28(1) of the Act, and this site offers none. It has no account with any operator, no agreement with any operator and no way to act on your behalf with any operator.
No liability for operators
A bookmaker's appearance on the sheet means only that the regulator listed it on the date shown. It is not a statement that the bookmaker will pay you, treat you fairly, keep your data safe or still hold a licence tomorrow. The publisher accepts no liability for anything you win, lose or are owed at any bookmaker, licensed or not, and no liability for a line of the list that the regulator has since changed. Disputes with a bookmaker go to its customer care centre (s.68(8)), then to the Authority (L.N. 112, r.9(2)(e)), then to the Gambling Appeals Tribunal (s.88).
Accuracy and errors
Reasonable care is taken to quote the law by section and to copy the list exactly, and every page carries the date it was last updated. The publisher does not promise that every page is complete or current at the moment you read it. Errors are handled as the Corrections page describes.
Links
Links to the regulator, Kenya Law, the Kenya Revenue Authority and other public bodies are provided so that sources can be checked. No link on this site leads to a bookmaker, and no link is paid for.
Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top of the page moves when they do, and a material change is recorded on the Corrections page. The terms are governed by the law of Kenya.
