Corrections
A site that quotes the law by section and copies the regulator's list line by line will get things wrong from time to time: a number mistyped, a line that has since changed, a sum that does not add up. This page says what counts as an error, how to report one, what happens next, and keeps the log of every correction made.
What counts as an error
A section or regulation number that does not match the Act or the Regulations. A line on the licensed bookmakers sheet that differs from the regulator's live list, whether in the company, the trading name, the licence number, the status or the domain. A tax rate or tariff quoted without its date, or with the wrong one. Arithmetic that does not add up. A date of update that is older than the law it describes. A sentence that reads as a recommendation, a ranking or an invitation to bet, which this site must never carry. A broken link. A typing mistake that changes the meaning. Small typos that do not change meaning are fixed without a log entry.
How to report one
The publisher has not yet published a contact channel, so for the moment there is no address to send a report to; when one is published it will appear on the Contact page and here. In the meantime the site re-reads its sources on a schedule: the regulator's list is compared with the sheet, and the dates on every page are checked against the documents they cite. Errors found that way are logged below in the same way as any reader report would be. When you do report an error, the page address, the sentence in question and the source you compared it with are the three things that let it be checked quickly.
What happens next
The claim is checked against the primary source: the Act, the Regulation, the regulator's page, the Kenya Revenue Authority or the Central Bank of Kenya, never a secondary report. If the site is wrong, the page is corrected, its "Updated" date is moved, and a line is added to the log below with the date, the page and what changed. If the source itself has changed since the page was written, the page is updated to the new position and the log says so. If the site was right, nothing changes, but the question may still prompt a clearer sentence. Corrections to the licensed bookmakers sheet are made by re-reading the regulator's list, not by editing a line by hand, so the sheet stays a copy rather than an edited version.

What is not a correction
A change in the law, a new trading period on the regulator's list or a new tax rate is an update, not a correction, and is handled by the page's own "Updated" date. A difference of opinion about which bookmaker is better is not a correction either: this site publishes no such opinion.
