Privacy
This site has no forms and no accounts. Fonts and images are served from this domain. Since 2 November 2026 every page also loads Google Analytics 4, the one outside resource, which sets analytics cookies only if you allow them. This page says what the web server's access log holds, what the analytics tag sends, who can see it, and what rights you have under the Data Protection Act, 2019.
What this build does not do
No advertising cookie is set, and no analytics cookie is set unless you allow it (see Google Analytics below). There are no forms, newsletters, comments or accounts, so you cannot type anything into this site that leaves your browser, and it cannot ask you to. Apart from the Google Analytics tag, no font, script, image or style is loaded from another domain. The filter box on the licensed bookmakers page works inside your browser and sends nothing anywhere; what you type there is not part of what the analytics tag sends.
What the server logs
Like every web server, the one hosting this site writes an access log: the address requested, the date and time, the HTTP status, the referring page if your browser sends one, your browser's user-agent string and your IP address. The log is used to keep the site running and to notice abuse, and for nothing else. It is not joined to any other data, not used to build profiles and not shared. An IP address can be personal data under the Act, which defines personal data as any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (Data Protection Act, 2019, s.2), and the publisher is the data controller for that log in the Act's sense (s.2). Retention follows the hosting provider's default and will be stated here, with a period, when the publisher's details are published.
Google Analytics
Since 2 November 2026 every page loads the Google Analytics 4 tag from googletagmanager.com. It runs in Google's consent mode, with advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalisation always set to "denied". A bar at the bottom of every page offers "Allow analytics cookies" or "Decline", with a link to this page.
- Until you choose, or if you decline, no analytics cookie is stored. The tag still sends Google cookieless page-view signals: the page address, the time, and details of your browser and device.
- If you allow, first-party cookies whose names begin with
_gaare set so that repeat visits can be recognised.
Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage under the key ga-consent. You can change your analytics choice at any time. Google processes what it receives under its own privacy policy, and may process it outside Kenya.
Third parties
One: Google, as the provider of the analytics tag described above. No advertising network, social widget, embedded video or external font service. Links to the regulator, Kenya Law, the Kenya Revenue Authority or the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner take you to those organisations' sites, where their own privacy notices apply.
Your rights
Under s.26 of the Data Protection Act, 2019 you have the right to be informed of the use to which your personal data is put, to access it, to object to its processing, and to the correction and deletion of false or misleading data about you. Section 25(h) requires that personal data is not transferred outside Kenya without proof of adequate safeguards or your consent. If you believe this site has mishandled your data you may complain to the Data Commissioner orally or in writing under s.56; a complaint must be investigated and concluded within ninety days (s.56(5)). The Office of the Data Protection Commissioner also publishes a register of data controllers and processors, which s.18 of the Act and the 2021 Registration Regulations require organisations processing personal data to join; the publisher's registration status will be stated here once its legal entity is published.
Bookmakers and your data
This page covers this site only. A bookmaker that holds your ID, phone number and transaction history is a data controller in its own right and owes you the same s.26 rights. Questions about a bookmaker's handling of your data go to that bookmaker first and then to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
Changes to this page
2 November 2026: Google Analytics was switched on, as described above. Any other feature that collects data will be described on this page before it goes live.
The Data Protection Act, 2019 was assented to on 8 November 2019 and commenced on 25 November 2019.
